The first trailer of AVATAR wasn't that impressive to me. The first thing in mind: oh, another CGI movie, but with big blue smurfs. Great. Well, normally a trailer shows the best parts of the movie, and most of the time the trailer is 10 times more tense then the real thing.

Damn, was I wrong. Last week I went with some friends to the special premiere of AVATAR in 3d IMAX in Amsterdam. OMFG!! 162 minutes of beauty! This is the first time ever, I really got sucked into the movie. The 3d isn't the cheapy 3d effects of arrow beeing shot into the audience, or whatever, it;s to enhance the amazing world of Pandora. To experience to story, to give you the feeling of actually beeing there.

This is the first time I spend 15 bucks TWICE (yep went again this weekend) on a movie. And guess what? I am going again :)

So go watch it in 3d IMAX and enjoy the movie, like movies should be: entertainment.
